The consumer will have the option to get the meter calibrated in any accredited Test laboratory or from RUPL/SUPL Lab.
In case of party purchased meter, consumer have to visit at the nearest service unit & submit the testing application format along with testing charges (Single Phase) @100.

Your meter will be tasted from ourcesu Laboratory & installed at your premises. The testing certificate will be provided you on your request.
If the meter is found to be incorrect after testing, fees paid by the consumer shall be returned by way of adjustment in the next electricity bill of the consumer.
Where the meter has been supplied by the OURCESU and the meter becomes defective in service, the engineer will remove the meter and test the same as provided in Regulation 58(1).
If after testing, the meter is found defective not due to tampering or deliberate damage, the defective meter will be replaced by another tested meter without any charge to the consumer within thirty working days from the date of removal of meter from consumer’s premises.
If the meter is found to be missing, or after inspection or testing if the meter is found to have been tampered with or damaged, the engineer may call upon the consumer to deposit the cost of replacement within seven working days. Also the consumer will be liable to pay the penalty as per the OERC guidelines.
